Marta Riesco announced this Friday, March 24, that she had been fired from her job. Specifically, Ana Rosa Quintana’s producer, Unicorn, sent her a burofax informing her that they were dispensing with her. A decision that the journalist has labeled as “unfair”.

The Objective portal has contacted Cristina Porta, the collaborator with whom she starred in her latest clash live, to find out her opinion about this decision by Unicorn, a producer where Marta Riesco had been working for years.

“I think that the workers have to row in favor of the chain, not just the production company. I think that Unicorn has done what it has considered thinking about the chain in which it works. The maximum respect must be given to the chain and I think that they have made the decision based on that”, explained Cristina Porta.

“The producers know exactly what they want from the workers”, commented Porta, who took the opportunity to use herself as an example: “I have worked with Unicorn Content on various programs and the truth is that I am very fond of them, it is a producer who treats his workers great, but there are some conditions and he works for Telecinco”.

Cristina Porta also recalled her run-in with Marta Riesco live: “For me it was a very tense moment, I never experienced anything like this and I was a reporter for many years. It happened and I found it, it was provoked, I didn’t expect it,” she assured.

“I did not know that it was going to have this repercussion and that it was going to take this dimension, but it was a very unpleasant moment, which I think the obligation, the experience and the years, made me hold back a lot, because I have character, but I try to speak politely “, has added.
