Cristina Pedroche has always considered herself a very demanding person, especially with herself. Not only in her work, but also in her personal life; which has taken its toll on many moments in her life. Above all, when it comes to expressing what she feels publicly, because in a world in which everyone seems to have an opinion – and too quickly -, not all of her words are in good taste.

Every time the presenter says something or shares a reflection through her social networks… It sparks controversy. It takes just a few seconds for her detractors to launch all their hatred against her and after so many years, it ends up taking its toll on her. She wanted to reflect on this in her latest publication, confessing that she already feels that she has “lost connection” with social networks.

In a publication that the Atresmedia presenter shared a few hours ago, she confesses that she is losing that desire and connection with her followers. “Many times I don’t make sense of it and it makes me sad. All the time I have to think if this photo is okay, if someone will be bothered by the text, if someone will feel offended by what I don’t say but that that person clearly understands. my words… The truth is that it is exhausting”.

According to the presenter, it is something that has increased over the years; and has reached a point where everything he says or does is criticized. “Before it also happened often to me, especially near Campanadas, but now with motherhood EVERYTHING I do or say becomes controversial,” she laments.

“Everyone has an opinion about what is good or bad about what I do,” he continues, ensuring that he no longer even knows how to take the comments that defend him on social networks.

The presenter insists that she tries not to read anything, but being online makes it impossible, so it ends up affecting her. Pedroche does not want to leave social networks, but if she stays it is because he believes that many of his followers benefit from what he says. “I swear that’s why I keep staying and enduring the downpour, but damn, how difficult it is sometimes for me to stay here,” she concludes.

Her publication soon went viral, with many of her colleagues and friends showing her their unconditional support. One of them, Paula Echevarría, who urged him to do what he wanted with his life without caring about others: “In short, do what you want, how you want, when you want, with whoever you want and if someone doesn’t like it.” like it or it bothers him… He already knows what he has to do, no one forces anyone to be here!”

The comedian Ángel Martín, Pedroche’s partner in Sé lo que haceis, always very vocal on mental health issues, sent him a reflection: “He thinks that every negative comment is written by someone who, when they show him the trailer of what his life has been like, will say: ‘Did I really spend all this time insulting people I don’t know at all on social networks? But who the hell gave me the brain?'”
