Corina Mrazek, representative of Tenerife, has become the new Miss World Spain 2023 in an exciting gala held on Saturday, May 6, in the Tenerife town of Los Realejos. The young woman, only 22 years old and with a Degree in Guide, Information and Tourist Assistance, dazzled the jury with her talent for traditional Canarian dance and her social commitment as a volunteer in food banks. In this way, she is the successor of Paula Pérez.
The new Spanish beauty queen, who has Austrian roots, could not hold back her tears upon hearing her name as the winner and emotionally posed with her mother, who has supported her throughout her career. “They have been hard months, in which there have been moments of downturn but also many happy moments. I am left with everything I have learned and everything I have enjoyed, this experience has changed my life. I hope I have left my province at the height it is deserves, and I hope that everyone feels proud of me”, commented the Tenerife woman before she was crowned as queen.
Corina’s hobbies include fashion, reading, art, sports and traveling. Precisely, she works as a cabin crew. In addition, the young woman is passionate about traditional Canarian dance, a skill that allowed her to stand out in the beauty pageant.
The first lady has been Charlotte Harrison, representative of the Canary Islands, while MarÃa Arcos, the candidate from Granada, has been chosen as the Second Lady. Completing the Top 6 finalists are the representatives of Barcelona, ​​Las Palmas and Tarragona. The list of finalists includes the representatives of Cáceres, Girona, Madrid, Málaga, Melilla and Valladolid.
Corina Mrazek now joins a long list of Spanish women who have excelled in the Miss World pageant, the oldest in the world with more than seventy years of history. Among them are Carmen Cervera, Bárbara Rey, Lorena Bernal, Carla Barber and the Catalan Mireia Lalaguna, the only Spaniard who has managed to bring the Miss World title to Spain.
