According to these sources, a heart attack would have been the cause of the sudden death of Camúñez, who was accompanied by his father at the time of his death, which has caused great consternation in the surroundings of the Bullfighting School of Seville, where the bullfighter was registered and with which he had taken his first steps in the profession.

Serrano explained that Camúñez “had applied to the contest that Canal Sur televises but had not managed to be classified and had sent the curriculum on his own for the promotion cycle that is organized in July in the Plaza de la Maestranza”.
The consternation has extended to the world of the brotherhoods and brotherhoods of Dos Hermanas in which Javier Camúñez was well known, since he belonged to the brotherhoods of Gran Poder, Valme and Nuestra Señora del RocÃo in which he actively participated.
