Genoveva Casanova continues to be one of the most sought-after names in the Spanish heartland during this beginning of 2024. The Mexican became the focus of a multitude of news and discussions after some photographs of her were published alongside Federico of Denmark, crowned as king of the Nordic country this past weekend. Since then, her whereabouts and her state of health have been two of the great unknowns to be resolved in recent days.
The first of them was recently uncovered thanks to the discoveries of Vanitatis, indicating that it was in his native Mexico. However, the second seems to be worrying multiple people in his family and close circles. The journalist Pilar Vidal went to Espejo Público this morning with the intention of giving new details about this matter. There she has said that the affected person would be very delicate on a physical level, beyond the psychological one.
“On Monday, Genoveva wrote to see how she had experienced the issue of the coronation. Obviously she didn’t answer me. This morning I received a call from someone very close to me who told me that he is in Spain, not in Mexico. And they are also very worried because she is in very poor health. This has not sat well with him. Let’s remember that she had a pulmonary embolism. The only thing I’m saying is that they are worried and, apparently, she has had tests and is having tests,” she said.
The only way Casanova had to react to everything that was happening with Federico X was through his social networks. It was on Monday, 24 hours after the new king’s coronation, that she left a heartfelt message on his Instagram profile: “I want a great life. I want to experience everything. I want to break every single rule there is. They say ambition is not an attractive trait in a woman. Maybe, but what is attractive? Wait for something to happen?”
Casanova had to clarify his friendship with Federico before temporarily disappearing from the map. “I want to make it very clear that I have no relationship with him, as he is letting himself down. We are friends and the photos prove nothing. Except for those who want to distort the images and see where there are none. We have common friends and I am not telling who my friends are,” she said in a statement released to different media.
And Vanitatis magazine itself insisted that the Mexican was worried about the distrust of those around her. She felt surrounded and unable to talk to anyone about this matter. She “she is completely isolated, even bordering on paranoia. She doesn’t answer her friends like she did before, she doesn’t even behave normally. “She suspects everything and everyone,” the magazine said.
