Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III: Hold onto your butts, the two greatest movies about dinosaurs, and a third we don’t like to talk about are coming to Netflix this month. I was really into dinosaurs as a kid, and I have the Jurassic Park movies to thank for that. They gave us extremely realistic (though not entirely scientifically accurate) portrayals of dinosaurs and of people seeing dinosaurs for the first time. I still tear up watching Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) cry seeing her first triceratops. March 1

The Craft: Even the most loyal Harry Potter fans (at least the ones born in the ‘90s or before) will say The Craft is one of the greatest witchy movies of all time. The gothic cult classic was an ode to the high school experience that Hollywood largely ignored in the ‘90s. It channeled the black comedy of dark teen movies The Heathers and The Breakfast Club more so than Clueless or American Pie. March 1

Disney’s Pete’s Dragon: The sweet story of an orphaned boy who befriends a furry green dragon who he names Elliot. Based on the 1977 musical. March 14

Disney’s The BFG: Another story where a child befriends a big, mythical being, this time a "Big Friendly Giant." The BFG is based on the titular novel by Roald Dahl and tells the story of an orphaned girl adventuring to Giant Country to help stop the invasion of the man-eating giants. March 15

Netflix

Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist.

Marvel’s Iron Fist: Danny Rand is a billionaire martial arts expert who has the ability to summon the power of the Iron Fist. He’s been presumed dead for 15 years, but returns to New York to take back his family’s company. Based on the character and stories from Marvel comics. March 17

The Vampire Diaries: Season 8: The beloved vampire series ends March 10 and we are all going to be in mourning for a while. Relive some of the best moments with all eight seasons on Netflix. March 18

13 Reasons Why: Season 1: This Netflix original series has Selena Gomez as an executive producer. The series follows a teenager returning home from school and finding a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside are cassette tapes recorded by his classmate and crush Hannah Baker, who committed suicide two weeks earlier. Hannah uses the tapes to explain there are 13 reasons why she ended her life.
