Celebrities from the film, music and fashion industries are used to posing on the red carpet with their partners, children and other family members. But this past Wednesday night, Claudia Schiffer caught everyone’s attention in London with the choice of her unexpected companion for the premiere of Argylle.

The 90s supermodel arrived at the presentation of the latest film directed by her husband, Matthew Vaughn, accompanied by her cat Chip. The reason? Her pet has a prominent role in this production starring Dua Lipa, Henry Cavill and Ariana DeBose.

The German appeared on the red carpet in the stunning Versace dress she wore at Milan Fashion Week last September. Claudia, a close friend of Donatella Versace, accepted the designer’s proposal to return to the catwalk after five years of absence.

Her reappearance was one of the most iconic moments on the Italian catwalk. She closed the show with a beautiful tight green and silver metallic mesh dress, with a V-neckline, decorated with embroidered flowers and straps with jewel detail. A design that fit him like a glove and was worn days later by Anne Hathaway, another of Versace’s muses.

For the London premiere of the film, Schiffer opted for this dress from the Italian brand’s spring-summer 2024 collection, which she combined with a backpack with a yellow and brown diamond print to carry her cat.

The image of the feline, with an unfriendly face, quickly became viral on networks, where users did not believe the model’s companion, who posed proudly with her pet. It should be noted that Chip, who is called Alfie in the film, has his own Instagram profile @chipthecat, where he has more than 14,100 followers. “Argylle star, author, model, entrepreneur, influencer and nepo cat,” you can read in the description.
