Some chocolate high heels or the candy rings that captivated Yasmine, the daughter of the owner of Harrods, the billionaire Mohamed Al Fayed, and that were sold in the famous London department stores. But, also some chocolates in the shape of lips that were born as a result of the film All About My Mother by Pedro Almodóvar… These sweet delicacies are displayed in the pop-up Atelier de Sueños by Christian Escribà that has opened in La Roca Village, where You can find an exclusive selection of unique gifts that combine the latest trends and baking. Pure temptation!

The temporary space in which gift ideas are proposed in this baking environment will be open in the village during these Christmas holidays until January 5. The fun will be seeing the most iconic works of edible art from the Escribá universe, along with the delicious offer it has prepared for the occasion, which includes some nougat to celebrate the 25th anniversary of La Roca Village.

One of the great pastry novelties that Escribà presents at the pop-up is the first Catalan cream panettone, a very original version that fuses these two Italian and Catalan desserts and that, once tried, aspires to become a classic.

Escribà carries out this activity with a spirit of solidarity since a percentage of the sales of the pop-up will contribute to supporting one of the initiatives of the Do Good charity program of La Roca Village, whose objective is to raise funds to eradicate child marriage through various Educational programs.

The presentation of the pop-up was attended by Nada al-Ahdal, the Yemeni activist who escaped a forced marriage in her country and who told her story in La Vanguardia Magazine. At the same event, the famous Barcelona pastry chef, who for the first time collaborates with this solidarity initiative of The Bicester Collection village, stated that inspiration always comes to him when he least expects it. But when it arrives, sometimes, it becomes art. And then he continued with his private exhibition and demonstrated how candy rings are prepared, a jewel that is made with a derivative of beet cane: a delicacy designed to be savored, since it is edible, but, as the master pastry chef says, , “most people keep it to themselves.”

Patricia Schmidt, creative partner of Christian Escribà, also collaborates with a series of sophisticated decorative pieces made of sugar and chocolate that decorate and give the Christmas touch to The Apartment, one of the private spaces of the village.

To commemorate its 25th anniversary, La Roca Village, one of the eleven villages of The Bicester Collection around the world, has promoted a series of initiatives that aim to raise awareness and funds to eradicate child marriage and improve the lives of women and girls as part of the philanthropic Do Good program, launched in 2019.
