Thanks to the latest editions of Operación Triunfo we have been able to meet great promises on the Spanish music scene. The talent show, which will premiere its new edition on Amazon Prime Video in the fall, is one of the most followed programs on social networks and the one that gives the greatest boost to many of its participants in the music industry.
One of the most successful since her adventure in the academy ended, 5 years ago, is without a doubt Aitana. The Catalan artist is right now immersed in the promotion of her new single, Las Babys, a song that will be included in her third studio album, Alpha, which will be released soon.
The artist’s new song is a sampler from Whigfield’s mythical Saturday Night. A song with which Aitana tries to pay homage to the nineties and where the Whigfield dance was a mass phenomenon. Now the interpreter from Los Angeles returns with the desire to turn this version into a summer hit, which will make all her fans not stop dancing.
The expectation for the song was so great that even days before its premiere it already became a trend on social networks. So Aitana has once again shown that she is an unstoppable phenomenon. Although some of his music industry peers may not see it that way.
One day after the release of Las Babys, the ex-partner of the singer and partner of Operación Triunfo, Luis Cepeda, published a rather controversial message on his Telegram account, which has not gone unnoticed on social networks.
”It’s very cool when you have the support of your record company, when they invest in you, when they put you on TV programs even with your shoes on so you can keep playing and they introduce you to producers and composers even from other countries, it’s very cool to go to Pernambuco to compose, that they put you on the top Spotify lists in the country and that they ask the radio stations to support you,” the artist wrote. A few words that can be associated with Aitana’s career, which has managed to be the most successful of his edition.
Even so, the composer stressed that he was happy to have all his fans supporting him, despite not having an exorbitant success. ”You know what’s the coolest? Not having any of that and that you continue here with me. Music and better times will come, I promise. Hold on a bit,” concluded Cepeda.
Although she does not mention it, many followers of the Catalan have assumed that it is a dart aimed at Aitana, since it is not the first time that the Galician has starred in a controversy related to her ex-partner. The controversy has been so great that the Galician has decided to make his Twitter account private.
