Carmen Lomana emulates Carrie Bradshaw to go to the opera

The 2024 season of the Teatro Real in Madrid premiered, on Monday afternoon, the play Tenorio by Tomás Marco. An essential event for opera lovers, among them, the couple formed by Manolo Falcó and Amparo Corsini or the celebrity Carmen Lomana, who captured all eyes in the capital’s Plaza de Oriente with her style.

The businesswoman once again exuded elegance with an impeccable black and white outfit, the infallible duo. Lomana opted for a style in the purest New Look style that Christian Dior presented in his first Haute Couture collection in 1947 and which stood out for the pieces that highlighted the wasp waist and the wide skirts.

Carmen looked spectacular in a black Dior wool jacket with an ‘off-the-shoulders’ neckline that left her shoulders visible and was double-breasted. A piece that fit her silhouette and that she combined with a midi-length white skirt full of tulle and flare by Christopher Kane.

She completed the look with some Miu Miu slingback pumps with a bow detail on the instep that followed the Coquette trend and the Lady Dior quilted bag. Her pearl necklace, bracelet and earrings also stood out.

With this look, Lomana emulated Carrie Bradshaw, who made tulle skirts fashionable at the end of the 90s. The Sex and the City character played by Sarah Jessica Parker appeared in the series title with a white tutu that Patricia Field, the costume designer, purchased it for six euros in a New York showroom.

An iconic piece that the writer’s fans were able to see again in the first film of the series and, a couple of years ago, in the first season of And Just Like That…, where it appeared in one of the chapters with a more long. Bradshaw wore a tulle skirt with a striped-print sweater and white Chanel ankle boots with history, since they were the same shoes she wore in the sixth season of the original series, when she was in a relationship with the artist Alexander Petrovsky. .
