The circumstances in Survivors 2024 are what they are and not all contestants are able to adapt. Carmen Borrego is having a very bad time in Honduras and, once again, she has requested to leave, although she has not activated the abandonment protocol, to end her adventure as a castaway.
Despite the initial intentions of the little girl from Las Campos, everything seems to indicate that Borrego will remain in the contest. At least that’s what she has promised, although it is not clear that he will have a similar episode again. Furthermore, she has regretted that he is not being able to do what María Teresa Campos, his mother, would want.
The woman from Malaga, as reported in Conexión Honduras, went into crisis and had to evacuate from the beach: “I can’t take it anymore, I swear to God that I can’t take it anymore.” So, she asked to be taken away: “Take me out of here, I’m dying, I beg you.” Sure enough, a boat arrived to take her away.
The contestants were very concerned about the ways in which Borrego had left. Sandra Barneda’s first words have not been reassuring either: “Since she got on the boat, what I know is that she has not returned to the beach, she remains isolated and we are waiting for what the doctors tell us. In the next few moments we are going to receive a medical statement”.
It was the sheep herself who wanted to show her face and offer the audience the pertinent explanations to justify this attempt at abandonment: “They are helping me, but I have not thrown in the towel, let everyone know.” Thus, she has defined that he is going through “a bump” that he hopes to overcome.
What he is not managing well, in his words, is the absence of his mother. “My mind has gone far and wide,” she said. In this sense, she has commented that it may be that she is beginning to mourn the death of María Teresa Campos now that she has time to think about it calmly.
This pain as such has been added to not knowing how to channel it to have a good contest. “I know that it is giving me strength from wherever I am, but that is not the problem,” the collaborator clarified. Thus, she has confessed that she does not know if she has been able to “bring out what she has been” in her life.
