After a two-year hiatus that has felt eternal for fans of the contest, Masters of Couture has returned to the screens with more style than ever. The sixth edition of this emblematic program has returned to La 1, and yes, with the same team as always. Raquel Sánchez Silva continues to lead this textile adventure, accompanied by the unmistakable trio of the jury: Lorenzo Caprile, María Escoté and Palomo Spain.
The objective of the group test was to let the imagination fly in a 100% free creation but inspired by Pablo Picasso. Soraya, the oldest, has been chosen as team leader and, judging by how the test went, she has not been good at it.
So much so, that the team members have complained bitterly about the Soriana leadership. “She ignores Me,” Mima has assured when Soraya, absorbed in her tasks, has not given her guidelines to know where to take her. “There has been a poor distribution of tasks,” said Yichuan.
Caprile and Escoté have been in charge of questioning the green team in the group test. And the judges have not been too happy with Soraya’s work as captain. Basically, they have not understood what they were up to or where the Picasso touch was in the two-piece they were designing.
Not seeing any reference, Caprile asked the contestants what they knew about the genius from Malaga. Not being happy with the explanations received, he has made a drastic decision: “I want a handwritten essay in which you explain to me what Picasso meant.”
At this moment Mima has taken the opportunity to try to reduce the tension between the judges and the contestants. “In front and behind,” the young Valencian woman asked, referring to the length that the text should have. Caprile, unlike his encounter with Carlota, has not taken the joke well: “Don’t hesitate.” Mima, for her part, has lowered her ears.
