In The Asunta Case, Netflix has managed to portray with meticulous precision and drama one of the darkest episodes in the black chronicle of Spain. The murder of Asunta, a girl of just 12 years old, at the hands of her adoptive parents in Galicia shook the entire country.

Through each episode, the series delves into the circumstances and shadows of this crime committed by Alfonso Basterra and Rosario Porto, played to perfection by Tristán Ulloa and Candela Peña, respectively. Precisely, the Catalan has visited Late Xou with Marc Giró.

In her appearance on the program, Candela Peña has shared her reflections on a new hypothetical new professional adventure now that, as she herself has said, she has become an international star: “I have shown that I am a good actress, or that I work at it.” At least, so I want to make money from something.” However, she has assured that there are some red lines: “Drug trafficking is ruled out.”

So, inspired by the example of David Bustamante, the Catalan wants to launch her own line of perfumes to continue generating income beyond acting. “I’ll settle for one,” Peña has clarified, so she would not be thinking of matching the entire range of fragrances that the Cantabrian has available.

The actress has indicated that she is already managing her foray into the world of perfumes for . Her first step will be to train her sense of smell, something she already has on track: “I have to do the nose tests to see how much vanilla is here and so on.” Her name is also a question that she will have to resolve, since she has confessed that she has not thought about it yet either.

During the interview, however, Peña made it clear where he can throw his perfume. The Catalan woman has a great fascination for “the dark” and that makes her lean towards intense and mysterious aromas such as “patchulism”. On the contrary, she doesn’t want to know anything about sweet smells.
