The arrest of Antonio Tejado has shaken the foundations of the Spanish heartland in recent weeks. The former television collaborator was arrested for his alleged involvement in the assault on the home that his aunt, the singer María del Monte, shares with Inmaculada Casal in the Sevillian town of Gines. His arrest was accompanied by seven others, members of a Portuguese gang responsible for more robberies in the area.
Since then, many people have expressed their disagreement with the attitude of the Sevillian in his actions prior to the robbery. Several of them have come from his ex-partners, who have not been willing to report his erratic behavior. One of the latest has been Candela Acevedo, a television presenter who competed with Tejado in Gran Hermano Dúo, through the magazine Lecturas.
“If he weren’t in prison I wouldn’t dare say this. I found him last year at the Seville fair and my legs were shaking. Antonio was super jealous and had me under control. He manipulated me and brought me down. “My sister didn’t want me to be with him because she was a very aggressive person,” she explained in an exclusive article that will appear in the pages of the latest issue of the magazine, on sale starting tomorrow, Wednesday.
One of his most famous explanations was about police interventions every time there was a disturbance at home. “He came out like nothing had happened, so cold! They told him they wanted to see the girl, I was hoping they would tell me to come out. She was terrified. Afterwards she cried to me and said ‘forgive me, I don’t know how I could have done this,’” Acevedo expressed in the interview, also recounting another uncomfortable moment.
“The situations were repeated and repeated. I left home two or three times. Once I was going down the stairs to catch an AVE she started insulting me. And from a fake profile to sending me photos of myself and threatening me ‘if you don’t stay with me I’ll show them these photos,’” were her words. The director of the publication, Luis Pliego, also provided another uncomfortable detail regarding this exclusive, during his intervention on Telecinco’s TardeAR program.
“She doesn’t know why, but many nights she didn’t know how she had fallen asleep and that it was dawn… He has accepted the sentence, which is 7 months in prison. It is the law that comes from Olvido Hormigos and it is striking that Antonio sent these videos to a boy to have sexual relations with him. He recognized it in the sentence that we have had access to and he confirms that this is the case,” he said, about the conviction for illicit intimate videos and the possible use of burundanga.
