During the last weeks, Mask Singer’s Aliens have become the absolute protagonists. In fact, social networks have not stopped launching speculations about the identity of the first double mask of the program. Yesterday, the great unknown was finally revealed and under these disguises was one of the most famous media couples in our country.

In order to discover who was hiding under those disguises, in this new installment there were researchers Mónica Naranjo, Ana Obregón, Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo, as well as Roberto Leal, as a guest researcher. However, it was Obregón and Ambrossi who were clear about who it was and were not fooled.

The fifth Mask Singer gala only had one elimination, hence the choice of Aliens. However, before reaching this moment of the night, the spectators were able to enjoy their performance, in which they performed their version of Mon Amour, a song by Aitana and Zoilo.

Throughout the performance, the Aliens were the most lovey-dovey, which hinted that this couple might have some kind of romantic relationship or bond. In fact, as soon as it was the turn of the votes and the double mask was chosen to unmask it, the bets began.

While Ana Obregón and Javier Ambrossi were always clear about who it was, Paula Echevarría and Miguel Torres, Mónica Naranjo claimed to have had a bad time these weeks. “These two take me down the path of bitterness,” the singer acknowledged. “He came for weeks eating the jar thinking about who you are,” she told them. According to the Catalan, they were Luis Fernández and Ana Fernández, from the Los Protegidos series.

For his part, Javier Calvo pointed to Isco and Sara Sálamo and Roberto Leal, the guest researcher of the night, mentioned Hugo Silvia and Michelle Jenner. When the moment of truth arrived, the aliens from Mask Singer removed their mask… and, bombshell!

Under the disguise were one of the most media and famous couples in our country. In fact, already in the clue video you could see who it was. “We are the first aliens to appear on the cover of a human magazine,” they asserted.

The couple was at all times grateful to have lived this experience. “We knew it was going to be difficult because you are very good,” said Miguel. While Paula explained that her participation had been something “hilarious”. And she pointed out: “We have loved everything, from thinking about the songs to doing the choreographies.”

However, there was a detail that they did not let slip when it came to recounting what their experience had been like, which at times was distressing. “The first rehearsal was horrible, we thought we couldn’t do it. I had nightmares at night thinking that I was going to have to go out and defend that suit. It was impossible, I promise you, Arturo”, asserted the actress.

All this was due to the absolute limitation of movement that they had due to their bulky costume. “It was impossible for both of us to move in the ship. Impossible and unfeasible ”, he continued.

In fact, “this created even more heat for us, more discomfort. Neither of us are claustrophobic, but it did give us a bit of that point of being there, inside a suit, unable to breathe or move.”

Still, the couple managed to overcome these issues and give it their all on the Mask Singer stage becoming the first unmasked couple on the show.
