When it comes to generating headlines, Laura Bozzo never disappoints. Her latest achievement: becoming a finalist of Big Brother VIP 8 paying a total of 50,000 euros, a record figure. However, as stated in the program, the Peruvian cheated and the bids have been invalidated.
Ion Aramendi, host of the program, has revealed evidence of Bozzo’s deception during the debate. According to Aramendi, the communicator’s board originally showed a figure of 2,000 euros. However, this figure suddenly changed, raising suspicions among Bozzo’s colleagues. Luitingo questioned the change, and Naomi confirmed that Bozzo had altered the figure, adding an extra zero.
This alteration was later admitted by Bozzo in a conversation with Carmen Alcayde, in which he confessed to having looked to the right and added to the figure when he saw what Pilar Llori had written.
The evidence of the manipulation became clear when Aramendi showed the whiteboards on the set, pointing out that the markers used were permanent. You could clearly see on Bozzo’s board how the number 2,000 had been crossed out to make it 20,000, raising his bid significantly. On the other hand, the presenter has assured that she crossed out 25,000 to write 20,000.
However, Bozzo was not the only one who modified her board. Aramendi also confirmed that Pilar’s list had been modified, although before the deadline to bid had expired. Therefore, her change was legal, not like the presenter’s.
In light of the evidence, Bozzo has lost his status as a finalist. “Laura has lost her position, but as I already warned, this will have more consequences,” Aramendi assured. But the privilege has not passed to Pilar, but rather the votes have been “challenged” due to all the irregularities detected. So she will have to nominate to see who gets her place in the final and they have lowered the final prize.
