The iconic Thyssen Bronemisza Museum in Madrid hosted this Monday the fifth edition of the La Vanguardia Magazine Beauty Awards. Some awards already consolidated in the sector that stand out for their work in making visible the most cutting-edge cosmetics in design and technology, but above all for highlighting the intrinsic link between art and beauty.

The director of the Magazine, Joana Bonet, explained it on stage at this gala. After thanking the winners and guests for their attendance, she recalled the reason for the success of these awards: “for five years we have followed the mantra beauty stays in the art, we have always understood it that way, we have never thought that beauty is only one or something orthodox”, he stated. She has been joined at this celebration and on stage by such influential voices of the Godó group as its editorial advisor, Ana Godó, Pere Guardiola, commercial and expansion director, and Enric Sierra, deputy director of La Vanguardia.

This year, under the name of famous painters and artists such as Cézanne, Degas, Morisot, Renoir, Monet and Juan Gris, among others, La Vanguardia Magazine has rewarded the innovative work of cosmetic luxury houses that, in addition to innovating, seek to improve its formulas to make them more sustainable and responsible with the environment, as well as more personalized and committed to its consumer.

Paco Rabanne, Caudalie, Orveda Skincare, Chloe, Guerlain, Narciso Rodríguez, Dyson, Nutralie, Shiseido, Mesoestetic, Yves Saint Laurent, Sisley, Garnier, Esthedermes, Isdin, Dior and Olistic are the 17 firms that in this fifth edition have risen to the stage to collect a well-deserved prize with a flavor of art and unbeatable design, as a work of art.

The awardees’ speeches have placed special emphasis on the efforts of the firms they represent to innovate and seek a more personalized service for their luxury clients.

To close the awards ceremony, the singer Brisa Fenoy has offered an intimate and precious performance for the exclusive guests of this edition. Her velvety voice has silenced the public who, for a few minutes, have been able to savor the beauty of her lyrics and her author’s music.
