Beatriz Carvajal has been dedicated to the world of acting for more than six decades. The actress is one of the professionals in the sector who can boast of having done all kinds of roles in both film and television.
But although we all remember her for great characters like Gregoria in La que se avecina, the interpreter also had a place for the world of comedy. The 73-year-old actress was present in several Spanish Television programs, but the one for which she will always be remembered is the mythical program Un, dos, tres.
Carvajal was on the entertainment show for four seasons. A very famous exit and that now years later he has confessed the reason for his farewell. It has been during a new interview that he has made to the early morning program called El Faro de la Cadena Ser, presented by Mara Torres.
During the interview, the actress recalled how her beginnings in the profession were. Beatriz Carvajal she confessed that from a very young age she always thought of being an actress. And when she was only 13 years old, she took the stage of the MarÃa Guerrero Theater for the first time. But without a doubt, what made her rise to fame was her time on the Un, dos, tres program, in which she shared the screen with the great Mayra Gómez Kemp.
The interpreter has been very honest on the subject and has explained the main reason that led her to leave the Spanish Television space, after four seasons. ”I left because I wanted to be an actress, not a comedian, and I spent a lot of time between boxes watching my colleagues work,” she declared. She also assured that she was caught because at that time there were hardly any female comedians.
”I took it as one more job and I realized that it wasn’t like that because a week after I went on television, everyone recognized me,” the actress affirmed. A situation she was not comfortable with. “It was not an easy decision because it was starting from scratch again, but it was affecting my mental health,” confessed Beatriz Carvajal.
