From Ireland and after his acclaimed participation in the last edition of Eurovision, Bambie Thug, the non-binary artist known for his dark aesthetics and his “ouija-pop” music, announces concerts in Madrid and Barcelona.
Bambie Thug, who took sixth place at the festival, will perform for the first time in Spain as part of his ‘Crown The Witch’ tour.
The concerts are scheduled for September 11, 2024 at the Nazca hall in Madrid and on September 12, 2024 at the Bóveda hall in Barcelona. During these performances, attendees will be able to enjoy hits such as ‘Doomsday Blue’, which brought Bambie Thug to fame at Eurovision, as well as other popular songs such as ‘Tsunami (11:11)’ and ‘Egregore’.
Tickets for these concerts will be available starting next Tuesday, May 28 at 10:00. In addition, there will be an exclusive pre-sale for Resurrection Fest 2024 season ticket buyers on Monday, May 27 at 10:00.
Bambie Thug, real name Bambie Ray Robinson, was born in Macroom, County Cork, and has had a career full of contrasts. Originally trained in ballet, Robinson moved to London to study musical theater after an injury prevented him from continuing with dance. This transition marked the beginning of his career in music, culminating in his debut single ‘Birthday’ in 2021.
Throughout his career, Bambie Thug has released several singles and EPs, addressing personal and controversial topics such as mental health, body dysmorphia, and the occult. His unique style and provocative lyrics have made him a leading figure in the alternative music scene. His Eurovision success with ‘Doomsday Blue’ cemented his reputation, leading him to conquer an international audience.
