An unusual event has altered the preparations for the wedding between Tamara Falcó and Íñigo Onieva, who do not win for disappointment. According to the details offered by Nacho Abad in El Debate, a calculated and risky robbery on the A-6 motorway, near Las Rozas, has caused the loss of a set of priceless jewels intended for the wedding celebration, Scheduled for Saturday, July 8.
The incident took place when the jewelers, who were traveling in a luxury car to Valladolid with the jewels, came across a car that pretended to be a police vehicle. This fake patrol car forced the jewelers to stop on a service road, blocking their way.
Once the car was stopped, three armed individuals wearing police vests got out of the police vehicle. In the blink of an eye, the jewelers were caught by the thieves. One of the policemen proceeded to slash the wheels of the jewelers’ car, neutralizing any attempt to escape. At the same time, another of the robbers forced the driver at gunpoint to open the vehicle.
The result of the robbery was a haul of high-value jewellery, including antique-style necklaces, earrings, bracelets and bangles valued at more than two million euros. Once the prize was obtained, the criminals disappeared at high speed, leaving the jewelers immobilized on the service road and without Tamara’s jewels.
The Civil Guard was immediately alerted and has launched an investigation to find those responsible, whose whereabouts are still unknown and the reasons for the robbery are unknown.
While waiting for more details to be known, this latest event puts the Falcó-Onieva marriage in check, already involved in a series of complications, such as problems with the wedding dress and rumors of infidelity. Undoubtedly, the loss of the jewels destined for her wedding supposes for Tamara Falcó, beyond the economic frustration, a great emotional setback.
