Laura Matamoros has chosen one of the best ways to say goodbye to the year: going with her son Matías to Lapland to visit Santa Claus’s house. A dream trip that lasted no less than six days, in which mother and son had a fantastic time through Finnish lands in an adventure that they will surely take a long time to forget.
Above all, because their getaway to the Nordic country ended with an “armed robbery”, which is how Kiko Matamoros’ daughter has described the situation she had to live in as they landed at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport in Madrid.
The influencer ended her family vacation with an unforeseen event that almost ruined that perfect moment between mother and son. After landing at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport from Helsinki and after collecting her luggage, the influencer went with her son to get her car, parked in the airport parking lot.
“After the whole day of traveling, we arrived in Madrid. Then, the suitcases and the car. And in which parking lot was the car?”, the influencer is heard asking her son Matías, who answers the letter and color from the square where they left him all those days. The fact is that, when they arrived to pick up their car, they faced another “problem”: paying the parking fee.
Laura Matamoros entered her data into the payment machine and discovered the price to pay for having left her car for 6 days, 13 hours and 47 minutes: 220.50 euros. A figure that apparently was not expected, given the reaction of Kiko Matamoros’ daughter, who apparently did not have it calculated in her budget.
Through Threads, the woman from Madrid described this as an “armed robbery” and assured that she was not going to leave it in the parking lot again. Her followers reacted immediately, including well-known faces such as Grace Villareal, Marta Castro, Tomás Páramo and Paula Echevarría, who even recommended other solutions for much less money.
Of course, solutions or not, Laura Matamoros had to pay for parking on the spot. What is clear is that it will not happen to him again.
