Ares Teixidó has returned to national television in style. After much effort, the journalist has been able to reconcile “with the media” after coming to hate television. The Catalan, who loves the world of communication, has explained her process in Semana magazine.

Zapping and Let’s get along, are the programs that have made Teixidó recover his enthusiasm. And it is that, as he explained, the previous stage of her became very hard for her and made him a “bad person”. Although there are two more aspects that transformed her life into hell: the diagnosis of her diabetes and the death of her great friend Àlex Casademunt.

“There are times in life that the things you love the most are the ones that hurt you the most,” he has expressed, and that has happened to him with television. “There are people to whom I have wished evil and I am not a bad person. That is what TV did to me for a moment, to become a bad person,” Ares Teixidó stated in the aforementioned medium.

Although he says he does not regret anything about his television stage, he admits that he could have done things differently: “I have screwed up many times throughout my life.” All this is due to his impulsiveness and intensity when working “I was waiting like rain for someone to tell me: ‘Hey aunt, I’m with you'”, he confessed.

However, there is someone who has managed to completely change the Catalan: her partner, Bruna Manzoni. The Brazilian influencer came into Teixidó’s life and stayed until then. “I come from very toxic relationships and I understood love as a suffering in which the other person was above me,” she has expressed.

Thanks to her, he is being able to cope better with the diabetes that he was diagnosed with five years ago, and that completely stopped his life. The journalist has confessed that this almost caused her to lose her life and that she made her suffer “an emotional shock”, since she never thought of going from being an independent woman to being “insulin dependent”.

“I think about my diabetes 24 hours a day,” he admitted. And it is that, as she has explained in the magazine Semana, the Catalan woman has feared many times for her life. “I’ve spent my whole life listening to my mother say that the only important thing is health and I remember that day at the hospital telling her: ‘And when health fails, mom?'”, she has confessed.

All this was combined with an unexpected setback: the death of Àlex Casademunt. The journalist had a great friendship with the singer and the news of his death broke her to pieces. “The hardest job I’ve ever done in my life is to forgive my friend for leaving”, she has expressed, showing how much she loved him.
