In recent months, Antonio Tejado has found himself in the media spotlight. Tejado is in preventive detention, accused of being the “intellectual author” of the robbery that occurred last summer at the home of his aunt, the singer María del Monte. Little by little more details about the case are coming to light, and some details about the relationship between the two are revealed. Apparently, Antonio already betrayed the singer for several thousand euros in the past, something that has now become known.
The events would have happened in 2011, when the artist’s relationship with Inmaculada Casal was not yet public. Apparently, as revealed by a famous paparazzi in Investigative Team this Friday, Tejado then contacted the press to leak where his aunt was with the journalist. The amount of money he would have charged was 5,000 euros to betray his aunt, with whom he boasted of having a great relationship.
“On some occasions he has sold us information about his aunt. The first photographs in which María del Monte and Inmaculada Casal appeared, which were taken in El Rocío, the amount that was given to Antonio Tejado was around five thousand euros,” revealed the paparazzi mentioned above.
It was on February 12 when Antonio Tejado was placed in provisional prison for allegedly taking part in the violent robbery that occurred on August 25 at the artist’s home. The stay of the singer’s nephew in prison will be prolonged after the judge’s refusal to grant him provisional detention. Currently, he is awaiting trial, and continues to deny his participation in the assault.
“That night, around four-thirty, twenty minutes to five, there was a noise in the house. I hear like a bookshelf falling. Boom! “It wakes me up to see Inmaculada trying to get a person out of the bedroom,” the singer assured the judge. During that night, they threatened them. “You have three minutes to open the safe or I will take the girl and kill her,” said the assailants, referring to the journalist’s daughter. In addition, they tied Inmaculada, laid her on her bed and crushed her head against a pillow. A most violent gesture and for which both were very afraid. Neither one nor the other ever imagined that Antonio could be involved in the robbery.
