There are many well-known faces who have wanted to express their affection for him, among them, Antonio García Ferreras, presenter of Antena 3.

Pedro Piqueras puts an end to his career, but above all to one of the most important stages in his life, that of being a presenter for Informativos Telecinco. After 17 years in the position, the one who was once director of Radio Nacional de España said goodbye to his audience this Friday with some emotional words. “Thank you for allowing me to enter your homes,” he said. “I leave with the best memories of having been with you for so many years. I wish you times of less tension, more justice and more happiness. Good night and see you always,” expressed the veteran communicator.

And, despite being part of the competition, Antonio García Ferreras wanted to recognize the great reference that Pedro has been for many.

“Another good person who is no longer on the front line is from the competition, his name is Pedro Piqueras. For almost 20 years, every day on the screen. Yes, in the competition, on Telecinco. From here our tribute and recognition,” he began saying Antonio. Ferreras wanted to conclude by referring to Piqueras’ future, venturing to say that he is only retiring from television, since he is a person who will always be strictly linked to communication. “Today he leaves it… Well, he leaves the screen. I’m sure he will continue in action. All the luck in the world,” he expressed.

The truth is that Piqueras himself recognized how hard it has been for him to take a step back after so many years on television. “I’m very sad to leave it, but it’s a decision I made a long time ago, about two years ago. I’ve been maturing it and after the whole war in Ukraine and various elections, I considered it was time,” he said through social networks. of Telecinco News. “I’m going to miss them all a lot, because my life has been television. I’ve been embedded in the screen since 1988 and I’m a little scared that next Monday is going to happen without an agenda,” he said.
