Any event is likely to occur during a live connection with a television channel. Over the years, the cameras have collected all kinds of events at the most precise moment, also surprising the journalist in charge of covering the corresponding information.

This is what has happened in the Greek town of Nea Anjíalos. The Hellenic country continues to be devastated by fires, which especially affect islands such as Corfu or Rhodes due to the large concentration of tourists that takes place there during the summer. A television reporter was in one of those spotlights when, suddenly, a large explosion surprised her live.

The journalist had not yet begun her account of the events when the deflagration took place. As reported by the Alerta News account on Twitter, it is an arms depot that has exploded as a result of one of the fires that has ravaged Greece in recent days.

Completely stunned, the woman went out of the shot for several seconds and, without any cuts in the signal, later went on to recount all the details of the explosion, in a great exercise of professionalism despite the initial shock.

This new outbreak in Nea Anjíalos adds to the fires that have already plagued Greece, and for which European aid has been sought in order to fight them. Without leaving the Mediterranean, multiple fires have been recorded in other countries such as Italy, Tunisia or Algeria. In this last territory, in addition, 34 deaths have been registered for the same reason.

In Spain, the worst part is for the moment the Canary Islands. This Thursday the fire that takes place in the Caldera de Taburiente National Park, in La Palma, has been reactivated and is added to the already stabilized fire in the Gran Canaria town of Tejeda.
