After years of controversy and months involved in a tough legal battle with her ex-husband, Johnny Depp; Amber Heard decided to put an end to her life in Hollywood, where she continued to be surrounded by controversy because of what happened in one of the most publicized trials of recent times. Thus, the actress headed for Spain, choosing Mallorca first and then Madrid to settle with her three-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige.

The Aquaman interpreter lives in one of the most luxurious neighborhoods in the capital, where she moved a few weeks ago. Since then, the actress has fully integrated into her new home and her neighbors. Heard has been seen leaving for cultural visits, interacting with her fans… With something she hadn’t seen in a long time: a big, sincere smile. In her last appearance, the actress resumed her sports routines, going for a run through the streets of the capital as one more citizen who wants to stay in shape and with the anonymity that she so longed for.

Since she has moved to Madrid, the actress has been very happy. In addition, the interpreter speaks Spanish perfectly, so she is like a fish in water on this side of the pond.

Amber Heard lives like any other Madrilena, she goes out to play with her daughter in a playground, she can be seen running through the El Retiro park, she shops at the museum in her neighborhood… Madrid has become her home, and shes charmed. So much so that on more than one occasion she has already been seen even dispensing with her security service.

The debt that Amber Heard had with Johnny Depp has already been paid. The actress has paid the million dollars (about 926,531 euros, in exchange) that she owed her ex-husband as part of the agreement reached by both parties after losing the media trial for defamation, held in June last year.

The millionaire amount, paid through his insurer, has not ended up in the hands of the actor, since he has distributed that amount among no less than five charities (200,000 dollars / about 185,400 euros for each one) with which he usually collaborate, with causes such as helping children with terminal illnesses, getting homes for the most disadvantaged classes or protecting ecosystems.

It must be said that not everything is finished. The Fairfax (Virginia, USA) court that resolved the case also provided that Depp should compensate his ex-wife with $2 million, who filed a counterclaim, also for defamation. The actor’s current legal team is still litigating to avoid this payment.
