Alonso Caparrós is going through a difficult time, because his economic worries have returned and he does not stop tormenting himself. The collaborator has collapsed during Sálvame Naranja, when the collaborators have faced an emotional game that has ended up causing many of them to cry.
The problem is not only the economic debts that it drags, but the origin of them. As he explained in Lecturas magazine, the first notice came in February, with an embargo by the bank.
The significant debt would be related to his past, marked by his addictions: “I was worried that the news would reach TV and that they would think that I had relapsed into my addictions. I was afraid it was related to my parents. I feared that it would be made public, it would be misrepresented and wounds would be reopened. None of that has happened,” he said.
Caparrós still feels guilty about that episode. “I still feel a lot of guilt for my past even though I believed or thought it was a resolved issue. As a result of my personal problem, which I thought I was coping with well, scenes have awakened in me, fears with my parents, doubts, a lot of things”, he explained to his companions from Sálvame.
For this reason, the television presenter cannot stop being moved when he remembers his career: “My psychologist has told me that I tend to break down when I hear good things about myself. She attributes it to the fact that I still feel a lot of guilt about my past. Despite that I thought it was a resolved issue, what she tells me is that I feel very guilty for what I’ve been through in my life”.
Alonso Caparrós owes almost 60,000 euros. As he explained in Lecturas magazine, his debt comes from some houses that he owned: “I bought the AlmerÃa house with the bank and when I couldn’t pay, he kept it, but he kept charging me.”
Now, he is trying to negotiate the debt with the bank because he wants to “start from scratch.” And that’s what he’s been doing since he started collaborating on Sálvame. Since then, he has been able to save some money and has received the unconditional support of his colleagues, as well as the love of his wife and children.
