What I experienced this Tuesday at Aruser@s, the program presented by Alfonso Arús on La Sexta, has been worthy of a sketch of Escenas de matrimonio. Let us remember that this was an entertainment format in which amusing couples’ reactions to similar situations in everyday life were shown and that, with a great sense of humor, they were ironic about the different types of relationships.
Well, today the Atresmedia presenter and his wife, Angie Cárdenas, starred in a great television moment after a controversial question asked by Arús. “Why when you go out with your friends do you tell things about the couple?” the Catalan released as a dart.
It all started when Alfonso Arús put the following question on the table: “Can there be love without friendship?”. To which Rocío Cano, one of the collaborators of the program, flatly denied. For her part, Angie Cárdenas, the presenter’s wife, gave the following opinion: “Attraction is one thing and love is another. I think that love without friendship, like no.
And, then, Patricia Benítez, another of the program’s colleagues, asked those present if they told their partner absolutely everything, “because you do that with a friend.”
Next, the presenter wanted to intervene to raise a question that put his wife in check: “If it’s true, that love is impossible without friendship, why do you sometimes turn to friends to tell things about your partner ? Asked. There are no further questions, Your Honor”.
After this dart, Cárdenas blurted out: “But why do you think…?” “Because I know,” Arús interrupted him. “Now are you going to deny that you do this? Are you going to deny it? Is that I take the Scattergories. If you deny me this, I’ll take the Scattergories and go, ”he assured with a not very friendly face.
Immediately afterwards, the program revealed the opinion of the viewers regarding this issue and, shortly after, Arús also stressed that with the couple you measure your words more because you play a lot. “There are love relationships that have started being great friends and then they have arrived… Everything has its reason,” Cárdenas also wanted to emphasize.
