Alba Carrillo, a well-known television collaborator, has taken legal action against Mediaset España and the producer of Ana Rosa Quintana for alleged “fraud of law” and unfair dismissal. After her departure from Telecinco last March, Carrillo will bring to justice the communication group, Unicorn Content, La Fábrica de la Tele and other companies associated with Mediaset España.

The lawsuit filed by the model also includes Mediaset España, Unicorn Content, La Fábrica de la Tele, Megamedia Televisión S.L., Publiespaña S.A.U. and Connect 5 Telecinco S.A.U. These last companies are in charge of various areas of the Mediaset group, such as advertising, the official websites and the Mitele platform.

As mentioned in the lawsuit, Carrillo alleges that “fraud of the law” was committed in his contracts as of July 13, 2016, the date on which he began to be a constant presence in Telecinco programs. The collaborator has participated in programs such as the Big Brother Debates, What a happy time!, Save me, Deluxe, It’s already noon, Viva la vida, La casa forte, Secret Story, Rocío, tell the truth to stay alive, They are already eight o’clock, It’s already summer and Fiesta, in addition to the debates of various seasonal reality shows.

Alba Carrillo’s lawyers argue that all the companies for which she has worked continuously since 2016 make up a group of companies for labor purposes, the Mediaset España Group. Consequently, they consider that the communication group should grant her an indefinite contract, and that her dismissal has been unfair.

Alba Carrillo is confident that justice will prove her right and points out: “I have always done well in judicial matters. Although it is true that justice is slow, it has always been fair in my case, and I trust it.” In addition, she reveals that on May 22, a first conciliation act was carried out in which only Unicorn Content and La Fábrica de la Tele were present, without reaching an agreement.

On December 21, Alba Carrillo and the defendant companies will appear before the Social Court number 39 of Madrid to discuss this matter.
