Alain Delon is one of the most prominent French actors. At 87 years old, the interpreter of El samurái y El Zorro has overcome two strokes, despite the fact that he is now quite recovered. However, now he has to clear the attic of those belongings that, he intuits, could be a headache for his heirs. That is why, as reported by La Razón, the actor plans to auction off all his assets, in order to avoid conflicts between his closest relatives.
Among these belongings are valuables, such as the “60 years of passion” art collection, which has just been auctioned in Paris. The price reached has been eight million euros. According to Arnaud Cornette, president of Saint Cyr’s Bonhams Cornette auction house, the collection was very good. “The Bay of Sainte-Adresse”, by Raoul Dufy, reached the highest figure, more than one million euros. There were also works by Delacroix, Edgar Degas, Matisse, Millet and other renowned artists.
Alain is getting used to the idea that one day he may be missing, and that is why he begins to tie the ends together, so as not to leave chaos at the time of his departure. In 2021, his ex-wife Nathalie, mother of his eldest son Anthony, died of cancer. At the beginning of the year, she dedicated a few words to him that the journalist Jean-François Guyot published: “With you I understood that passion could be infinite,” she said. A death that could have opened his eyes and made him understand that time is short.
In 2018, in an interview with the Paris Match medium, the actor expressed his intention to leave without regrets. He had just attended the battle over the inheritance of his friend, rocker Johnny Hallyday. He then admitted that he didn’t want something like this to happen in his family. “I am preparing it and it will be resolved before my death, whether I like it or not. If I didn’t, it would be terrible, a war between brothers would break out and it’s something very sad that I never want to happen,” he said.
In May, Ari Boulogne, his illegitimate son, passed away, and his public reaction never came. On the other hand, the relationship with his children, Anthony, Anouchka and Alain Fabien, has been up and down, but currently everything is fine between them. His stroke served to reunite the family again. The minor moved a couple of months ago to the Loire Valley, where Delon lives, to be close to him. His daughter, with whom he maintains special complicity, will be his testamentary when it comes to distributing the actor’s estate.
Now the actor just wants to go in peace when it’s his time. Neither posthumous sales, nor disputes, nor anything that could alter the tranquility that his family now enjoys. In addition, he expressed that, in case of falling into a coma, he would not like to live tied to a machine. On the other hand, his great regret is the idea of ??dying without fulfilling his desire to shoot one last film under the command of a woman. But, at least, there is no loose end in his personal life.
