The French justice ordered this Thursday to strengthen the guardianship of actor Alain Delon due to the deterioration of his health at 88 years old and will appoint a guardian to manage his fortune.

The Montargis Court, in the center of the country, near the actor’s residence on the banks of the Loire, accepted the demand of the interpreter’s three children to reinforce their guardianship, given their inability to face certain actions, the BFMTV network indicated.

The judges decided to raise the level of protection imposed on the actor, who can now appeal that decision if he considers it appropriate. Last January, his lawyer had asked that Justice protect the legend of French cinema in the midst of a media storm caused by disputes between his three children, born to two different women.

Only Anouska, the second among them, went to court, while the eldest, Anthony, and the youngest, Alain-Fabien, sent their lawyers.

That presence in court clearly marked the differences between the actor’s children, divided between the daughter, who intends to move him to Switzerland, where she has established her residence, and the two men, who want him to continue in the mansion that was built in the center of France.

According to Anthony, his stepsister thus intends to pay less taxes on the future inheritance given the tax difference between both countries.

The children maintain that there are no differences between them regarding the inheritance that Alain Delon left sealed years ago, although with an unequal distribution, half for his daughter and the rest in equal parts for the two sons.

The elderly actor was under judicial protection since last January 25, but that decision allowed him to carry out certain legal acts that must now be approved by the chosen guardian.
