The series premiered in 2020, and despite the good reception it had from the public, it did not get the desired second season. Now, Barton Cowperthwaite, one of the main actors of the series, has revealed through his social networks the delicate moment of health that he was going through.

And as he confessed through a publication on his Instagram profile, the doctors had detected a stage 2 brain cancer. ”Yesterday they diagnosed me with at least a stage 2 glioma. It is a fairly large brain tumor. The tumor cells originate in the brain, so it does not spread from cancer to any other part of the body,” he began.

In the publication, you can see an image of him in the hospital and a scan of his brain. ”The only treatment for something like this is brain surgery. So far, the doctors have been confident that they will be able to remove most of the tumor and that after a successful operation and some rehabilitation I will be my (amazing, talented, brilliant, hilarious) self again. That said, it looks like scans and checkups will be part of my life for the rest of time,’ he confessed.

”It is taking my family and I several days to get a second opinion. Planning to go into surgery mid to late next week. I will do my best to speak openly about this process,’ she detailed.
