First Dates has become the perfect place for many people to try day after day to find love. On Monday night, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado reopened the doors of the restaurant to welcome a new batch of diners ready to give their all at the dinner that could change their lives forever.

Two of the great protagonists of the night were Manuela and José. The 72-year-old single woman from Seville returned to the Cuatro space after her last disastrous experience. And after trying to find love within the four walls of the restaurant, Manuela had never dated again. ”I don’t go out alone,” she declared. The single woman was looking forward to meeting a happy man with a desire to live.

Her date was going to be José, a 77-year-old bachelor from Seville, who claimed to be a person with people skills. Furthermore, José confessed that one of his great passions had always been motorcycles. The bachelorette had the intention of welcoming the bachelor with a typical song from Seville, but her nerves and initial disappointment caused Manuela to go blank. “It’s a very small thing, my soul,” she said. “We look like a quarter past one,” declared the single woman, referring to the height of her date.

After exchanging their first words, the presenter accompanied the couple to their table, where the evening began. During the first minutes of dinner, Manuela confirmed that José was not the man of her dreams. ”These townspeople are more mischievous than those in the capital (…) They give you the runaround,” she commented.

Furthermore, the bachelor confessed that two of his great passions were traveling and motorcycles. ”I like women to accompany me in my hobbies,” he stressed. But the situation between the two became tense again when both discovered the other’s age. ”I would have liked a younger woman,” the bachelor stated. ”She is very old, I still have a lot of life, I want someone who is 70 years old or for him to be just as good as me,” she said.

The date progressed and the two seemed to be at totally different points. And their differences were so great that even the single people argued over a piece of bread. José claimed that he could eat a giant loaf of bread in one day. Something that did not particularly excite the Sevillian. “It’s from the town, what do you love most, town people eat with bread,” she asserted. Likewise, the single woman noticed that José was not a very talkative person. ”I’m the shyest man on Earth,” the Sevillian explained.

In the final stretch of the evening, José really wanted to know what Manuela was like in sexual relations. However, Manuela preferred to be more reserved in that regard. ”Those things are not asked on a first date,” she stressed. In addition, the bachelor assured that he was willing to have sex every day. ”Those who boast so much, maybe they have it too small,” she asserted. ”I don’t know if she likes me, but I don’t like her,” he confirmed. Therefore, in the final decision there were no surprises and both were rejected,
