One Valentine’s Day away, love is in the air in the most romantic space on television. Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcome one more day to different diners at First Dates, with the hope of finding a person who fits their tastes and needs.
One of the most interesting events of the night was the one starring David, a painter from Barcelona with a punk past: “They saw me as a weirdo. We went out into the street and they beat us up, we were a minority,” the guest revealed.
In love, he confesses to having experienced a little bit of everything: “I got married twice: in the first marriage I got married with letters, one came every 15 days; in the second marriage I got married online, now the third one on TV” points out the artist between laughs.
His date was going to be Sandra, a very rocking single: “We have similar things, something very important to me” was the Catalan’s first impression. After learning about their places of residence, Carlos Sobera accompanied the couple inside the restaurant, where the evening began.
The singles started the dinner talking about their families: “That’s what I’m looking for, a couple who has children. You can’t give true love to your partner if you haven’t had a child,” Sandra points out with total conviction.
Next, the couple reflected on the decline of rock and roll as a musical genre: “We are still alive but we are like the subway: underground,” says David, before discovering that something else unites Sandra, the hatred for reggaeton: “They don’t even know how to sing, they need autotune” says the musician.
The evening ended with a smile from ear to ear on the part of the guests: “I was very calm, I had a great time,” says Sandra, while David points out: “I would like to have quick, improvised spontaneous outings.”
