First Dates is one of the most popular shows on the small screen and for some time now it has become the perfect place for thousands of people to find their soulmate, or at least try to. On Friday night, spectators at the Cuatro space were able to enjoy several dates between different diners willing to do anything to leave the restaurant accompanied.
Two of the great protagonists of the night were Iván and Silvia. The 22-year-old bachelor from Madrid arrived on television showing off his tranquility and studies. And the bachelor confessed that this year he finished his career in cybersecurity management. ”What?” responded Carlos Sobera. ”I have always liked technologies,” declared the Madrid native. As for love, the bachelor assured that he was not looking for a physical person, but rather a good conversation.
His date was going to be Silvia, a 19-year-old from Madrid, who defined herself as a somewhat ”dramatic” person. As soon as she crossed the door of the restaurant, the single woman was shocked by the presenter’s question. ”Do you know any cyber agents?” Sobera said. Silvia responded negatively and the presenter told her that she was going to introduce him to ”agent 008”.
Moments later, the bachelor explained to his date that the presenter’s joke was related to his studies. ”A little short but good. It’s not something I say right away,” he declared. ”I prefer them to be older than me,” she said after meeting Iván.
The date began with both of them discovering their areas of residence and their studies. Silvia left the bachelor speechless by confessing that she was studying history and classical philology. ”I haven’t taken Latin in my life, but I was good at it,” Iván stressed.
The date progressed and the singles seemed to be increasingly loose and at ease during the evening. Silvia confessed that she had had a partner for two years and Iván said that he had had two serious relationships. ”My last relationship ended due to infidelity and I think it will create obstacles in the way when it comes to establishing something emotional with someone,” he asserted.
At a certain point during the dinner, the party became a real obstacle among the singles. And Silvia said that she liked to go out from time to time, while Iván defined himself as a very partying person. ”I don’t like that,” she commented.
In the final stretch of the evening, Iván confessed to being quite passionate in love and Silvia claimed to be “very intense” in relationships. ”He seems like a pretty curious person to me,” declared Iván. Therefore, in the final decision, both agreed to have a second date.
