One of the most striking events of the night was the one starring Rocío and Humberto. The 73-year-old single woman from Madrid arrived at the restaurant claiming to be a very friendly person. Her love life had been a disaster. ”I didn’t get married, but I had two children,” she explained. Her last relationship ended overnight after a year and a half of dating. ”I grew big on him,” she explained. She wanted to find her particular John Travolta, a party animal, active and modern.
His date was Humberto, a 72-year-old bachelor from Alicante who confessed to being passionate about rock and having spent a lot of time in ”the Madrid night”. ”I’ve gone out every day of my life,” he declared. However, Humberto was not the John Travolta that Rocío was looking for: ”I didn’t like it at all because it wasn’t my style. He had his shoes half torn, his sweater dirty… very bad.’
After discovering their places of residence and their passion for tattoos, the presenter accompanied the couple to their table, where they began the evening talking about the rock genre. She confessed that what she liked most were the clothing associated with the genre, a John Travolta style. ”This person is not enough for me,” she asserted.
Moments later, the singles were updating each other on their love history and Rocío assured that she had no intention of getting married. A confession that clashed with the wishes of the bachelor, who confessed that he was prepared to go through the altar.
However, the couple’s biggest disagreement would occur minutes later when they both confessed their different points of view on sex. Humberto said that he was no longer as active as when he was young and that he prioritized time with his friends. ”That man is very calm and I am not like that. “I don’t like those people,” she said.
Furthermore, the man from Alicante confessed that he spent much of his time playing chess. ”Then you wouldn’t listen to me, we are very different,” she replied. ”I want a woman to fill the day, with the same vibe as me, but not for her to be Siamese,” he explained.
In the final stretch of the evening, the differences between the singles continued to be the main protagonists. And even though they both considered themselves rock people, their tastes were completely opposite. ”I don’t know who AC/DC are,” the single woman confessed. ”When a heavy girl doesn’t know who she is, she’s very from the town,” he asserted. ”They wouldn’t even joke on a date with this man,” said Rocío. Therefore, in the final decision, both refused to have a second meeting.
