Another day, the doors of the most famous restaurant on television have opened to welcome a new batch of singles ready to find the ”love of their lives” and enjoy a good evening.

On this occasion, First Dates, the Cuatro program presented by Carlos Sobera, welcomed María Isabel, a 49-year-old woman from Murcia who has been living in Malaga for several decades. After confessing that she has not had much luck in love throughout her life and that she has had a very bad time, the animal lover explained that she is unable to remember the feeling of being in love with her.

The single woman was so nervous about finding her better half that, just before receiving her date and sitting down at the table to start dinner, she burst into tears in the confessional. ”I would like to have a friend,” she expressed between sobs, forcing the technicians to stop the recording for a few seconds.

The Mediaset España program team chose Juan Antonio (divorced and with a 10-year-old girl) as a companion for María Isabel, since he is a folksy man who lives in the same city as her.

At first, they both liked each other and found certain aspects of their lives that could unite them: their love for the countryside and animals, their closeness, etc. However, he was not very happy that she has four cats and she disagreed when it came to the hunting issue.

Throughout the entire date, the singles seemed comfortable and there was no shortage of conversation. Furthermore, both were honest: the woman expressed that she lived 50 meters from the beach, but that she did not like her, something that also seemed very good to him.

At one point, she opened up and explained to the bachelor that she was not looking for a person to live with, but rather someone with whom she could have moments of intimacy and live endearing experiences. For María Isabel it was important to make it clear that she is an independent woman and that she wants to live alone in her house, something that Juan Manuel appreciated, since he was looking for the same thing.

Although they had a good vibe throughout the dinner and exchanged opinions, confessions and laughter, it seems that in the end things did not work out for Juan Antonio, who explained that he “had been missing something.”

Seconds before, María Isabel had responded that she did want to have a second date with the man from Malaga, but after hearing his refusal, she changed her version and wanted to make it clear that she had “expressed herself poorly” and that she was referring to seeing each other. Malaga, not to have a romantic date.
