The most romantic space on television has opened its doors for another week. On Monday night, new diners came to First Dates with the hope and goal of finding their soul mate for the first time or giving love a second chance.
One of the first to cross the restaurant doors was Enrique. The 61-year-old Cuban director considered himself a good person, a great friend and, above all, a great son. Her husband died five years ago after eighteen years of marriage. ”I have decided in 2024 to leave the duel and start a new story,” she explained. She wanted to meet an intelligent boy: ”Three quarters of a neuron is enough.”
Her date was Raúl, a 62-year-old Canary Islander who had studied classical and contemporary dance. The first impression among the singles was quite good. ”I like him because he is ugly and I am handsome. But I’m not egocentric,” Enrique said with a laugh.
After exchanging their first words, the Cuban bachelor surprised his date with a ring from his homeland. ”It’s always a source of pride when someone likes you no matter what way it is,” Raúl confessed. The evening began with the singles realizing that they had very similar personalities. ”He is just as bold as me. “He makes me very morbid,” Enrique confessed.
At one point during the evening, Raúl confessed that he was once a dancer and that he lived in many countries around the world. ”He has a huge universe to tell me,” the Cuban expressed. Furthermore, the Canary Islander claimed that on one of his trips to Cuba he had the opportunity to go out with a Cuban. ”Prettier than I don’t think,” Enrique told him. ”Physically he has personality, he is a Cuban of the world,” Raúl assured.
The date progressed and the complicity between the singles was increasingly evident. ”It’s an expanded and corrected version of me,” Enrique said. Such was their connection, that the singles did not hesitate to make future plans. ”From here we go to the next thing because I haven’t had relations for five years,” said the Cuban. For his part, Raúl said that he had not had sexual relations for much longer: “I’m not going with just anyone.”
In the final stretch of the evening, the singles moved to the program’s booth, where they gave free rein to their passion. ”I love your lips, they are very well made,” Raúl said laughing. ”He kisses very well, which is the most important thing,” Enrique clarified. Therefore, in the final decision there were no doubts and both confessed their desire to continue getting to know each other.
