Like every day, First Dates opens the doors of the most famous restaurant on television to welcome a new batch of singles and singles willing to let themselves go and meet someone special.

Although many times Cupid is not around for the job and dates become true fictional scenarios, there are times when the participants connect and consider a life together.

Pablo arrived at the space presented by Carlos Sobera ready to fall in love. He defined himself as a boy who likes himself, but recognized that he is full of insecurities and that he would operate on different parts of his body such as his ass: “I would do everything.”

For his part, Dimitri explained before the television cameras that he dreams of devoting himself to the world of fashion professionally and being able to make a living from his outfits. Although he was a little nervous about meeting his date, the man from Madrid calmed down when he saw Pablo and praised his makeup skills.

The first impression of the singles was very good. Pablo was looking for a boy like him, sociable and dreamy, so the program hit the nail on the head. After a few minutes of conversation, Dimitri pointed out in a confessional that he was happy with his companion, since he saw her as “pure,” “sincere,” and “charismatic.”

At one point in the conversation, the makeup artist commented to his date that since he has lived in Madrid he feels freer and confessed that he had suffered a lot of homophobia in Murcia, his homeland: ”Just don’t let them call me a faggot 50 times when I go out. To the street, it’s okay for me.” Dimitri took the opportunity to express his rejection of such attitudes and encouraged the young man to continue living in the capital to grow ”personally” and ”professionally”.

When they talked about the topic of sex and dating, the man from Murcia confessed that he doesn’t have more relationships in the big city than in his homeland, and also expressed that he feels more and more rejection towards penises: ”I’ve seen so many on Grindr…”. The one from Madrid warned him to be careful with ”phallophobia, fear of penises”, advice that made the bachelor understand what was happening to him: ”I’m phallophobic!”.

After sharing a dream evening and experiencing a date full of laughter, connection and good vibes, the singles nervously faced the final decision. Pablo accepted without hesitation to have a second meeting with Dimitri, a decision that he supported with a smile.

However, both recognized that they could have a great friendship, but that they had not felt anything beyond that. When an editor of the program asked them if they had not felt ”the spark”, both responded in unison that they had not.
