Live TV shows are one of the most unpredictable moments on the small screen. Every day thousands of reporters face this situation in the vast majority of television programs, where any circumstance or incident can shake the precious live connection.
On many occasions we have been able to see how some people decide to sneak into the middle of the live show to shout their opinions to the four winds or simply decide to hinder the shot. Situations that professionals in this sector often have to face. But something that we are not used to is that someone spits in full direct of a program.
This is what happened to the Mediaset reporter Virginia Mayoral this Monday. Isabel Jiménez, the presenter of Informativas Telecinco, gave way to the journalist, who was in the vicinity of the Congress of Deputies in Madrid. Virgina Mayoral had gone there to give the last minute on the negotiations of the PSOE and SUMAR with the rest of the political forces with a view to the configuration of the next government.
The reporter was explaining how the negotiations had progressed and the requirements that each party requested in order to reach an agreement for the investiture. At one point Mayoral suffered a problem on the air, which forced him to stop talking and spit forward with a look of discomfort.
“ERC calls for an amnesty law, Bildu a government of a multinational nature,” he explained, when suddenly a fly entered the journalist’s wedding, causing Mayoral to have to spit on air. After this awkward moment, the reporter continued her speech, but not before apologizing to the audience for the situation that just happened.
This fragment of the program has not gone unnoticed on social networks and many users have wanted to comment on this surreal situation that occurred in the midday news on the Fuencarral chain. ”I just died laughing!!! I throw myself to the ground”, ”Things that happen, better that than not swallowing it”, were some of the comments.
