Tosca Marie Augustin and Paulo Misasi Ruspoli have a love story that reads like a fairytale. They first met in Brazil over a decade ago and reconnected years later when Tosca wanted to host a retreat at Paulo’s family’s medieval castle in Italy. As they worked together on the retreat, their love reignited and they soon found themselves engaged.

Their wedding planning process took about a year, with the help of their wedding planner, Diletta Alliata, and family decorator, Ferdinando Sciarrini. The couple wanted to create a special and unique experience for their guests, incorporating elements from both of their backgrounds. The church ceremony took place in Rome at the Basilica di Santa Sabina All’Aventino, followed by a party at Castello Ruspoli in Vignanello, Italy.

Tosca’s Filipino heritage was honored at the wedding, with many guests wearing traditional Filipino clothing. The bride wore a bespoke gown by Phillipa Lepley and a veil by Luisa Beccaria, creating a stunning and classic look for the ceremony. The church was transformed into an Italian Renaissance garden by floral designer Andrea Patrizi, making the ceremony truly breathtaking.

After the church ceremony, the couple drove away in a vintage car to the reception at Castello Ruspoli. The celebration continued with a Brazilian street party in the town square, blending elements of both Italian and Brazilian culture. The night ended with a dungeon rave that lasted until the early hours of the morning, complete with a sparkly mini dress by Nara Niro and a medieval crown headpiece by Magnetic Midnight.

Overall, Tosca and Paulo’s wedding was a total fairytale, exceeding all expectations. The couple poured their love and attention to detail into every aspect of the celebration, creating a truly unforgettable experience for themselves and their guests. As they bask in the afterglow of their wedding, Tosca and Paulo are still floating on cloud nine, grateful for the magical experience they shared with their loved ones.
