‘The Voice’ is a program prone to emotions and surprises, and that is what happened at today’s gala. Andrea Duke, third performance of gala five, entered the show just a week ago after she was surprised after attending the previous gala with a friend.

In one of the breaks in the program, the presenter Eva González appeared on screen to talk to the audience. The Sevillian asked the viewers if it was her dream to participate in the program, and right after her, Andrea’s image appeared, announcing her inclusion in this week’s gala, which made the Madrid native excited.

Andrea Duke, 37 years old and born in Madrid, was encouraged to sing the song “What you’re looking for”, mixing Spanish and English. As soon as her performance began, she already saw that one of the judges most interested in her could be Malú, and she did not fail.

Halfway through the song, Malú pressed her button to turn around her seat and try to get her to go to her team, which made Andrea’s mother excited. The other judges were also close to turning around, but they didn’t, so Andrea will be on the Madrid judge’s team.

When Andrea has finished her performance, Malú has turned to her to express why she has chosen her: “At one point in the song I felt a sand in your voice, something that was beyond perfect.”

The other three judges have also had nice words towards the contestant, and Andrea even addressed Luis Fonsi telling him that after last week’s program, she was dancing with him: “Remember that last week after the program you asked me to dance “, which made the Puerto Rican smile.
