Popularly known as a melancholic figure, confined to her estate in Cantora, singer Isabel Pantoja has recently questioned this public perception during one of her last live performances. Far from maintaining a sober presence, the artist showed an unexpected side: that of a woman with a great sense of humor.
The interaction that highlights this change has been spread thanks to a video on TikTok, uploaded by user alespaccavento2. In that video, Pantoja talks to a fan who confesses to having dreamed about her. Far from taking it as a formal compliment or an inconsequential comment, the singer playfully addresses her follower. “Have you dreamed about me tonight? Can’t you get enough?” the singer asks with a mix of disbelief and humor.
However, it is his subsequent comment that steals the show. As she blows a kiss to her admirer, Pantoja adds: “My dear, you are very young.” Next, she gives advice that makes the room burst into laughter: “Dream about younger people.”
The audience, clearly surprised by this carefree facet of the artist, responds with general laughter. Pantoja herself joins in the laughter, aware that her comment has been ingenious.
This exercise in disinhibition contrasts with the sad family background in which Kiko Rivera, her son, has recently told details about his relationship with her on The Wild Project, one of the most popular podcasts in Spain.
In a candid conversation with Jordi Wild, the DJ explained that during his childhood and adolescence he was subject to strict control by his mother. Among the restrictions he has mentioned are the ban on going out at night, going to nightclubs and even going to the movies.
Furthermore, Rivera has stated that he currently does not want to maintain any type of relationship with Pantoja, especially after an incident at the hospital that led him to make the decision to distance himself forever.
