First Dates, the Cuatro program presented by Carlos Sobera, brings together dozens of singles every day who go to the television format to find a person who complements them and makes them happy.

Most of the people who come to the most famous restaurant in our country do so with the hope of finding their better half, since they have not had any luck with their previous relationships. Regarding the profile of the people who present themselves, we find people of all kinds: young, old, single, divorced, widowed, handsome, ugly, from the gym, etc.

Although they all go with a common goal, not everyone is moved by the same things. Jaume, a 35-year-old man who lives in a Catalan town, but who is from Mallorca, came to the Mediaset program ready to fall in love, although he was aware that he is a complicated man. A lover of homemade plans, the mountain and the bike, Jaume was looking for a woman who was not a fan of large crowds, since he does not like them at all and lives in a town of 10 inhabitants.

The single woman who accompanied him was Yolanda, a very lively woman from Alicante who cares most about her children in her life, but who wants to fall in love again and thus start another chapter of her life.

The first impression of the couple was very good, since Jaume defined Yolanda as “a hottie” and she said that he was “tall enough”, an essential requirement for women when it comes to meeting a man. man.

Shortly after sitting down to dinner, Jaume quickly brought up the subject of co-official languages and asked Yolanda if she spoke Valencian. The single woman replied that no, but that she understood everything perfectly. Faced with such a response, Jaume reflected in front of the cameras and said that Spanish “is not her language nor is it the language with which he has grown up”, so he does not like to speak it.

Another of the main problems faced by singles is the distance, since the Spaniard admitted that he had stopped meeting a girl recently because they were hundreds of kilometers away and that he did not really want to go through it again. something like that.

At one point, the conversation became more personal and Yolanda confessed that she was widowed three years ago, when her little daughter was 4 months old: “I’m fine, there comes a time when you assimilate it.”

Despite the fact that Jaume sees Yolanda as a warrior and that they share family values, the bachelor decided not to continue meeting the woman due to different reasons: her allergy to dogs, the distance and the fact that she does not speak her mother tongue: Catalan .

“I would like my family environment to be Catalan-speaking,” said the bachelor after his date told him that he did want to have a second meeting with him and get to know him a little better.
