The complicated search for love continues on the small screen thanks to First Dates. On Tuesday night, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed a new batch of diners who showed up at Cuatro’s space with the hope of meeting someone with similar tastes. But going to the program does not guarantee that you will go hand in hand with someone and many are greatly disappointed from the first moment.

Quite the opposite happened to Eradio and Conchi. The 62-year-old bachelor from Leon arrived at the restaurant loaded with gifts. One of his great hobbies was horses. Therefore, Eradio had decided to bring two horse shoes, a hat and a backpack. ”I wanted to bring something that I always use when I ride a horse,” he said.

He wanted to find a woman to live a quiet life. ”Six years ago I had my last relationship. It was left up in the air because I had an accident and I was dead in the hospital in León for eleven days. Nobody gave a penny for me and they abandoned me,’ he explained, leaving the presenter in shock. Her date was Conchi, a 55-year-old single woman from Cantabria, who defined herself as a nice, fun and good person.

As soon as she arrived at the restaurant, Conchi was delighted to discover that her date also liked horses. ”I think it’s great because I also like horseback riding,” he declared. Regarding her purpose in the program, the single revealed that she wanted to find someone to start a stable relationship. ”I want someone educated and faithful,” she detailed. Moments later, the first meeting between the singles took place. ”He has a very nice body and seems nice,” confessed the bachelor.

The evening began with the singles talking about their love of horses. ”It’s a very nice hobby, I ride,” she said. ”These are things that fill me a lot in a woman, that she is active,” he said. Furthermore, the bachelor confessed that he had been retired since he was 40 years old due to his profession as a miner. ”He’s a little older, but you have to pay more attention to his personality,” the single woman commented.

At one point in the evening, the singles discovered that they had another hobby in common: dancing. ”I dance in a regional dance group, I like it a lot,” she said. ”I believe that this woman is the soul that I need at my side,” declared the bachelor, who in turn said that he was more into Latin dances. But despite their commonalities, the single woman had doubts because of the distance. “It puts me back,” she asserted,

In the final stretch of the dinner, the singles moved to the program booth, where they put their dancing skills into practice. ”I think I’m going to conquer her,” the bachelor declared very convinced. ”She’s pretty good at dancing,” commented Conchi. Therefore, in the final decision there were no surprises and both agreed to continue getting to know each other.
