A bachelor from 'First Dates' has an outburst of sincerity and ends up ruining his date: ''You're out of tune like a horse''

The most famous dating show on the small screen, First Dates, opened its doors for another day. On Tuesday night, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed a new batch of diners, who showed up at Cuatro’s space with the hope of finding their better half. However, dating among singles does not always have the desired outcome and many of them end up being greatly disappointed.

One of the dates of the night was the one starring Ricardo and Nieves. The 84-year-old retiree from Madrid arrived at the restaurant confessing his love for music. ”I understand a lot about classical music. And any music, except reggaeton, which I don’t know what it is, has songs that are incredibly beautiful,’ he declared. He wanted to find a beautiful, intelligent woman with a sense of humor.

His date was going to be Nieves, a 79-year-old Venezuelan single, living in Madrid and very happy. ”I like to sing and I’m always happy,” she commented. The first impression between the singles was normal, although Nieves seemed somewhat disappointed with the bachelor. ”Who likes men with bellies,” she said. ”She’s a nice woman,” commented the bachelor.

After exchanging their first words, the presenter accompanied the couple to their table, where they began the evening with some problems of understanding. And Ricardo said that he had suffered from hearing problems for more than ten years, so he asked Nieves to speak louder. ”It makes me shy to scream. “I don’t like to scream, I like to scream when I’m at a party,” she said.

At one point during the evening, Ricardo confessed to being an envious agnostic and left the single woman completely stunned. ”He has a certain culture, I talked to him about several things, but she didn’t satisfy me,” she asserted. However, the date was going to take a radical turn as a result of Ricardo’s outburst of sincerity. And the bachelor, without prior notice, told Nieves that the outfit he was wearing was horrendous. ”That suit was given to you by the enemy, it makes you feel bad because the moment you move it makes you feel bad. “It’s horrible,” he declared.

In the final stretch of the dinner, the singles continued to demonstrate that their personalities were completely opposite. While Ricardo continued to show off his sincerity, Nieves demonstrated that patience was one of his great virtues. The couple, who had confessed to being a great lover of singing, launched into a song. ”You’re out of tune like a horse,” the man from Madrid told him. ”I’m going to tell you something, I sing in the Jerónimos Church,” she commented. ”Well, I’m thinking of going to see you,” Ricardo responded.

In the final decision, the single woman did not beat around the bush and blamed the bachelor for all the ugly comments he had made about her style and her singing. ”Because of everything I’ve told you, I don’t want to have a second date,” the single woman stated.
