Instead of going to the gym to work on your glutes, abs or arm strength, Stephanie-Audrey Marin suggests doing facial exercises to tone and reshape your face. This Franco-Brazilian entrepreneur who has been living in Barcelona for 20 years has created the Work Your Face chain of facial gyms. “I founded the company after seven years working as a marketing director in a family business in the cosmetics sector because it was always clear to me that I wanted to create something of my own at some point,” says this entrepreneur.
The idea of ??creating Work Your Face was born “from many trips I made around the world, in which I learned about different facial care techniques that I have mixed to create my own gymnastics method for the face,” explains the founder. Marin began applying her facial method in June 2022, in a center in Barcelona, ??and just three months ago she landed in Madrid due to the many requests that she says she received to open a Work Your Face gym in the capital. Now, Marin is finalizing her third opening, this time in Andorra.
The entrepreneur, who has established her company headquarters in Barcelona, ??aims to “open centers in as many countries as possible; first in the rest of the European Union and then outside it.” For now, it is announced that in February 2024 it will announce new openings, both inside and outside the country, and that “the reception is being very good, despite being a new business model.” Between the two operating centers plus the one in Andorra, Work Your Face employs nine people and the forecast is to end 2023 with a turnover of 250,000 euros. The founder indicates that to date she has not required external capital and that the 50,000 euros of initial investment have been her own resources.
The key to success, business and facial treatment, is consistency.
