TMB already includes Bicing and AMBici services in its own mobile application

Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) has launched the new TMBApp, an application that integrates more shared mobility services such as Bicing, the metropolitan bicycle sharing service (AMBici) and other similar companies.

Thus, there will be information from all public transport operators in Barcelona and the metropolitan area and in the same application, users will be able to plan trips combining metro, bus and tram with journeys on foot or by bicycle, they reported in a statement this Friday.

In the coming days, a first limited version will be published for some users and “during the first quarter of 2024 the change will be made for all people who have the application.”

This is aligned with the stated objectives of TMB’s Strategic Plan 2025, which states that TMB is an “integrating company of mobility services”, and expands the offer of mobility solutions to passengers based on their travel needs.

As for the information on the status of the service, “it appears in a more organized and practical way, with the offer in real time and notifications of alterations” and with a menu that adapts to frequent uses.
