The prestigious Italian automobile design firm Pininfarina has partnered with the company dedicated to developing futuristic living solutions AC Future. The objective has been to design a sophisticated electric motorhome ideal for you to go on getaways without the need for a network connection. Called eTH, this proposal shows the interpretation of both brands on what traveling with the house in tow will be like in times to come.
The name of the vehicle comes from the acronym of Electric Transformer House and it is a high-level extendable home with an ecological philosophy that offers 37 square meters of living space. It stands out for having a luxurious but minimalist interior at the same time, as well as for being equipped with cutting-edge technology.
The eTH is equipped with a roof of retractable solar panels that, thanks to renewable energy, can obtain more than 25 kWh of electricity. Continuing with its sustainable aspect, it must be taken into account that an atmospheric water generator converts environmental humidity into up to 50 liters of fresh water per day. Thanks to all this, the motorhome allows you to remain isolated from the electrical grid for up to a week.
Once you and the rest of the occupants find the perfect and authorized place to camp after a full day of adventures, you only have to press a button and everything will automatically be placed in the ideal place to have a complete home thanks to its extendable system . Among the areas included in the vehicle are a kitchen, a large living room with space for a dining room and a separate bedroom.
The eTH has practically everything you would expect from an apartment and is designed to comfortably accommodate four people, which can be five if you use the sofa that converts into a bed and is located in the living room. The interior layout makes the space very versatile, with details such as a folding table that can become an office desk.
The vehicle also integrates entertainment and connectivity functions. Thanks to the Starlink satellite Internet system, you will be able to be online permanently, either to stay in touch with your loved ones, to enjoy audiovisual content from different platforms or to be able to telework from anywhere during getaways.
Featuring movable walls and folding and modular furniture, this electric motorhome measures just 6 meters long in driving mode but expands to 8.8 meters when in living mode. The vehicle is highly customizable, as it allows you to choose not only between different exterior and interior color options but also between different cabin configurations.
