Tonight the 38th edition of the Goya Awards is celebrated in Valladolid. Great stars of the seventh art and other personalities will not miss the event. And a good part of them will attend the great Spanish film festival aboard one of the 25 cars that Audi will make available to them within the framework of the gala’s sponsorship agreement. The fleet of premium cars will be made up of electric and plug-in hybrid models, with the Q4 e-tron being the main protagonist of the event.
This electric model, available with an SUV or Sportback body, received an update last October, so that it has gained autonomy, efficiency and performance. The e-tron 45 variant with rear drive offers a power of 210 kW (286 HP) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds (6.8 for the SUV); while the top of the range, e-tron 55 quattro, develops 250 kW (340 HP) and reaches 100 km/h from a standstill in just 5.4 seconds. The maximum speed of all is 180 km/h. The approved autonomy exceeds half a thousand kilometers, according to the WLTP cycle.
In addition to the Q4 e-tron, the German brand will also make available to those attending the Goya Awards ceremony the brand new Audi Q8 e-tron, the e-tron GT and the RS e-tron GT. Like the Q4 e-tron, the Q8 e-tron is also available in two body types, SUV and Sportback, both with a length of 4.91 meters. The mechanical offer consists of several mechanical versions with a power ranging between 250 and 370 kW. Depending on the variant, the autonomy can reach 500 kilometers.
The e-tron GT, for its part, is an electric sedan five meters long, with four doors and five seats. There are two versions, with a power of 390 kW and 440 kW (RS e-tron GT), respectively. According to official data, they can travel up to about 490 kilometers on a single charge.
Up to this point we have presented zero-emission cars. As for hybrid cars, there will be representation of the current TFSIe range of the A6 Avant, Q8 and A7 Sportback families. In all cases, the autonomy they offer in electric mode exceeds 40 kilometers, so they enjoy the advantages of the DGT’s Zero label.
The price of the aforementioned Audi models ranges between 58,700 euros for the Q4 e-tron and 151,300 euros for the RS e-tron GT. These are the basic rates; From there the amount increases depending on the mechanical version chosen and the extra equipment that is added.
It is not the first time that the firm with the four rings has sponsored a film festival. It has already been doing this with the San Sebastián Festival for 14 years. Since its inception, it has also supported other relevant events such as the Malaga Film Festival, the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest and the Barcelona Film Fest.
And now it will be very present at the great festival of Spanish cinema, along whose red carpet the nominees of this edition will parade, among others, including J.A. Bayona, Malena Alterio, Manolo Solo, María Vázquez, David Verdaguer, Carolina Yuste, Alberto Ammann, David Trueba, Hovik Keuchkerian and Enric Auquer.
